Numerical Evaluation of Biochar Production Performance of Downdraft Gasifier by Thermodynamic Model

A theoretical evaluation of the biochar production process using a biomass gasifier has been carried out herein. Being distinguished from previous research trend examining use gasifier, which focused on energy efficiency, present study tries to figure effect rate overall performance because itself now given spotlight as main product. Biochar can be utilized for agricultural and industrial purposes, along with benefit climate change mitigation. thermodynamic model based chemical equilibrium analysis is demonstrate producer gas characteristics such composition, LHV (lower heating value) cold efficiency. Three models are reconstructed simulate biochar-producing gasifiers, seven kinds considered feed material. Depending assumptions applied well types, results simulation show large variance, whereas yield increases. Through regression generalized reduced gradient optimization method, simplified equations estimate efficiency (CGE) were derived having six parameters LHV, fractions ash, carbon water, reduction zone temperature, rate. The correlation factors between 96.54% 98.73% CGE, respectively. These supply pre-estimation maximum planning plant.
